Have you always had a passion for writing?

I believe that although I have not necessarily identified my passion of writing, it has always been there. I thoroughly enjoy a good book, especially autobiographies as I am encouraged by how others have made it through this eventual journey of life. I am often told that I have ‘the gift of the gab’, and although I love to talk, I love more the opportunity to share with others to offer support and encouragement.

Was writing from your heart difficult?

Yes. But I know that God sees us individually, he knows our hearts and the struggles that we have in life, and what I have faced personally as a writer.

As a Christian writer I have wanted to stand firm and not water down my emotions or beliefs even if that meant I may at times offend. In reality, not all people can be pleased all the time.

Jesus is a great example, in fact the example to follow. He did not fear others and what they thought, and knowing that He may offend others, His Love, Grace and Mercy was available.

It is my hope that you be challenged, but also encouraged to know that you can and will make it!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love a good book, but family time is so very important, something that is reinforced when children grow up and leave home. For this reason I now work hard at enjoying everyday that is before me, understanding that not all of them are necessarily good ones.

What impact did Radio have?

My radio experience has been extremely beneficial to me, providing me with amazing experience, while also talking to many! The blessing from working within the media community was the beginning of many open doors of opportunity, where God began to use me to minister and encourage the hurting community at large.
